Imported purebred mare by Otte 375 (dec) and out of a Jillis 301 mare. Fly is the newest addition to the farm. She is a very sweet mare who has recently foaled a colt by Jorrit. Purebred BB1 Friesian mare by Iepe Tj out of Marleena, Popke stands at 15hh and is a baroque style mare. Popke was bred to Remmelt 323 by frozen semen and has foaled a beautiful filly who can be viewed in the Foals for sale section. Popke has been bred to Lammert260 in late November for a 2012 foal. Partbred mare by Dagho (friesian) out of Dusty Marne (TB), The Carrock Yvette (reg AFWHS) stands at 16.2hh and is pictured on the left. A dream to ride Yvette is also the proud mother of 5 beautiful foals - Titan, Indienna, Mica, Illusion and Tara. Yvette has been out hitting the trails for the last 6 months with a good friend of mine and has now been bred to Tako for a 2012 foal.

Purebred BB2 mare by Avalon and out of Ulrika Jissel is the Jewel of the property. She was the ANZFHS National Highpoint winner for Showing In-hand AND Under Saddle for 2009 and she has produced some amazing foals from frozen semen. She is currently in foal to Remmelt 323 for a 2012 foal

Zydzyk was the very first filly bred by Groveborn Friesians. She was born in January 2007 and currently stands at 15.3hh. She is by imported permit friesian stallion Denni (by approved stallion Teunis) and she is out of our mare Popke. In 2010 she foaled a colt by Onne 376 and has been lightly started under saddle since he was weaned. Ziggy as she is known is very intelligent & has been a dream to work with. She is registered BB1 with the ANZFHS & the FPS.

Adara is by approved purebred Friesian stallion Wobke 403 and out of our baroque mare Popke. Adara is a very curious young mare who loves scratches & cuddles. She has developed into a lovely classic style mare and will soon begin long reining with a view to being under saddle in early 2012. Adara is a BB1 mare registered with the ANZFHS & the FPS.

These full sisters are by Othello S and out of a standardbred mare. Both girls are smart and sensitive and have recently produced stunning 3/4 colt foals. Chloe was started under saddle as a 3 yr old but had not done much since so both mares will soon begin training to become riding horses. Tara is the very first foal by our purebred stallion Tako and as such has a special place in my heart. She was also born 32 days early and fought a good fight to be the happy filly she is today. Tara is expected to mature around the 15.3hh mark and possibly be a dark chocolate brown - its hard to tell under the yellow fuzz she now has!!
